Last Thursday, abril 25, in the city of Barcelona, the Foundation had the honor of awarding Dr. Pim van Lommel the ICLOBY Award in its first version.
With this Award, the Foundation wanted to recognize Dr. van Lommel’s commitment to scientific research and his contribution to science in the field of consciousness.
Having Dr. Pim van Lommel on the Advisory Board of the LUZ Project is a source of pride for the ICLOBY Foundation, as is having all the other members of this Board and all those who every day in the hospitals give movement to our research.
As we have discussed on other occasions, Dr.. van Lommel is a Dutch cardiologist, recognized as a leading scientist and writer of several books, including “Consciousness Beyond Life”.
This Award – presented for the first time – also had an exclusive symbolism in the statuette that was presented. An enxaneta on a tower of books. Enxaneta means the boy or girl who crowns a Castell and alludes to the girl or boy who finishes the tower formed by numerous people perched on each other’s shoulders, typical of Catalan folklore.
With this symbol, the ICLOBY Foundation also wanted to emphasize in this new version of the Awards it has launched, what the value of fraternity, team strength and sustainability means in its mission to promote a change of individual and global consciousness for a new humanity.
