Susana Fernández Arcas

Achei que estava morrendo… e eles estavam esperando por mim

When Susana Fernández meets with people who are grieving, she understands why she returned and why, from the very moment she did, her purpose became clear: to share what happened to her. As she often says, sometimes the most painful and difficult experiences can transform life for the better.

She remembers a profound sense of peace and joy. She was smiling because the pain and suffering had completely disappeared. She felt herself moving gently toward a group of people she recognized—family members and friends who had passed away and were waiting for her. She recalls feeling an indescribable happiness, a state of fullness unlike anything she had ever experienced.

Então, suddenly, everything changed. She felt her hands close again. The pain returned, along with the feeling of abandonment and suffering. Naquele momento, she understood that her life had to continue—that she had returned to share what she had experienced. Throughout this entire process, she remained in a coma.

Hoje, Susana believes that life is meant to be lived fully, with meaning and gratitude.
