Navidad época de gratitud y fraternidad

Christmas is that special, magical, and warm time of year when we gather with loved ones and share our presence from the heart. It’s a time to deepen our understanding of each other and enjoy the company of friends, family, and colleagues.

The famous slogan “Come home this Christmas,” accompanied by delicious meals prepared with love and care, reminds us that the most valuable gift is the relationships we share with those we hold dear.

Christmas encourages us to open our hearts, share, be more tolerant, and practice generosity, compassion, and gratitude. It is a time to commemorate the birth of Jesus in Christianity and to reflect on the transition from theeye for an eyeapproach of the Old Testament to the ideals of unconditional love and solidarity among humans.

This season invites us to consider the importance of family unity, friendship, love, and what truly holds value. It is also a moment to remember those who have departed, symbolized by setting a plate or lighting a candle for them at the Christmas table. Those who have left us physically remain with us in spirit, having simply gone ahead.

In light of this year’s natural disaster caused by DANA and the numerous conflicts worldwide that have resulted in significant losses, it’s a time to acknowledge life’s fragility. Death can come unexpectedly, reminding us that life until old age is not guaranteed. This realization offers an opportunity to embrace life and death as inseparable aspects of existence.

هكذا, we learn to cherish life, appreciate our loved ones, and value our circumstances, knowing they could be worse. Celebrating this season is a challenge but also an opportunity to find meaning and joy in gratitude and solidarity, making these our offerings.

May this holiday season inspire us to be kinder and more compassionate, cultivating true values in our hearts and learning to live from the heart. This is the perfect time to embark on that journey! May the peace and joy of Christmas fill our days!

We propose a reflective exercise for this Christmas: Ask each family member to write on a piece of paper something they are grateful for daily, starting December 21. For example, something noticed or valued in daily reflections. On December 31, gather all the notes in a bowl or clay pot and burn them as an offering to life. The exercise can continue daily from January 1, restarting until Christmas 2025, resulting in at least 365 moments of gratitude by year’s end.

Additionally, acts of kindness and compassion can enrich this season: calling someone who is alone, spending time with a sick person, or visiting others who feel lonely.

We also encourage meditation, even for just ten minutes daily before starting any activity. Focus on gratitude from the heart. It’s also an excellent moment to practice forgiveness, both for ourselves and others, and to create connections from the heart.

The energy of forgiveness and gratitude is magnetic, originating in the heart and generating a field 5,000 times more potent than the brain. This energy aligns all our body’s rhythmic systems and stabilizes the energy field of anyone within its influence.

At Icloby, we propose celebrating Christmas from the heart rather than from the mind.

Remember, the essence of Christmas lies in love, hope, and connection with others—qualities that can shine even in the toughest moments.
