死亡不是结束: 我在 ICU 里见过

What if, instead of simply talking about death, we integrated it as a natural part of life and recognized that it is not an ending, but rather a transformation? Would this change our fear of dying and, from there, the way we understand life itself? Would the connotation that the word “death” carries today begin to disappear?

博士. Juan Rodrigo Moreno is Colombian. As an intensive care physician, he works primarily in Intensive Care Units (ICUs). 那里, phenomena such as hallucinations, 近乎死亡的经历 (濒死体验), and experiences associated with the end of life have led him to question the education he received as a physician regarding death

His interest in understanding these phenomena led him to study quantum physics and Eastern philosophies. From these perspectives, he proposes that “there is continuity between a material or physical phase on this plane and an evolution that continues on different planes.” The fact that we cannot see many of these things does not mean that they do not exist, he says.

对于DR. Moreno, the fear of death is, in reality, more a fear of suffering—and the two are very different things. 他认为, the sense of well-being that can arise when approaching the end of life without fear may represent an opening toward a state of complete well-being.
