مرحبا بالموت, احتضان الحياة

On November 8 و 9, the “8th Spirituality Forum of the South” was held at the University of Málaga’s Faculty of Law auditorium. The event was organized by the Asociación Viento del Sur, a group of men and women from various parts of Andalusia. Without religious or political affiliations, they are committed to awakening full awareness and view spirituality as a basic and universal dimension of the human experience, as described on their website.

With over 500 attendees, دكتور. Luján Comas presented her lecture titled “Being Born and Dying: Intermediate Stops on the Life Train.” She highlighted the deep connection between life and death, the importance of embracing uncertainty as part of this relationship, and the idea that happiness is rooted in the present moment. Her message culminated with a powerful statement: “Do not let the fear of dying prevent you from living”.

Attendees also had the chance to hear inspiring life stories. Mothers and couples shared how, after losing loved ones, they came to understand that life and death are inseparably connected. Among them were Portuguese speaker Mariana Abranches and Spaniard Enrique Martínez Lozano.

The forum welcomed other health professionals, including Dr. Matilde de Torres, who has spent over 20 years helping people uncover and heal the emotional conflicts underlying illness. دكتور. Torres, a physician and sophrologist, also has extensive experience working in emergency services. بالإضافة إلى ذلك, دكتور. Enric Benito, an oncologist with a Master’s in palliative care, contributed to the event with his presentation, “Transcending Death”.

Here are some photos from the event.
