Conscious Training: Contributing to a Better World

A community that consciously supports, learns, and transforms. The world itself is a community that endures.

Each new edition of our training programs represents far more than the beginning of an academic journey. It means opening a human space where people learn to hold pain, listen with presence, and accompany deeply transformative processes. This week, we have experienced precisely that dual meaning: while welcoming those who are just beginning this path, we also bid an emotional farewell to the in-person week of the previous edition, closing a chapter marked by listening, inner growth, Und

In disciplines such as conscious accompaniment and grief support, excellence is not born solely from technical knowledge. It emerges from the ability to look at another human being with humanity, respektieren, and awareness. For this reason, our Foundation understands education as a holistic experience in which teachers, students, and former participants become part of a living community that continues supporting one another long after the classroom experience ends.

Our beloved writer and dear friend, now transcendedElisabeth Kübler-Ross once said, “People are like stained glass windows: they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is an inner light.” That inner light is precisely what we see growing day by day in each new class. During this most recent in-person week, we shared testimonies, silences, lessons, and experiences that reminded us of the importance of accompanying others from a place of authenticity rather than automatic responses.

Many students arrive seeking personal or professional support; others come hoping to develop a life project, and some are simply looking for practical tools. Yet all of them, without a doubt, discover a profound process of personal transformation, and many find the courage to embark on the project of their lives. Students work on life projects and consistently express gratitude for having felt safely supported throughout the process — a space where they have been able to share their full essence and recover the courage necessary to begin fulfilling their purpose. I believe these words truly summarize the experience and spirit of our training programs.

To those arriving today, we extend our welcome with gratitude and trust. To those completing this in-person stage, we thank you for helping to build a human, compassionate, and sensitive community committed to caring for others.

Because beyond programs and qualifications, as psychiatrist Viktor Frankl — survivor of the concentration camps and a global reference in the study of life’s meaning — once reminded us: “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” In the fields of conscious accompaniment, conscious leadership, and personal and professional development, this idea takes on a profound dimension: because although we cannot always prevent suffering or life’s hardships, we can learn to move through them with greater awareness, humanity, and compassion when accompanied by others.

To this community, which continues to grow with every edition, we dedicate our lives, and it is the greatest source of pride for Fundación ICLOBY. This community consciously accompanies, learns, transforms, and improves the world in which we live.
