每年, the ICLOBY Foundation brings together students from its three academic programs for a week of in-person learning. This intensive event features a dynamic academic schedule, opportunities for direct interaction with faculty, and the presentation of final course projects before an academic panel.
As part of this annual tradition, 博士. Pim van Lommel travels to Barcelona to contribute to the experience. During the week, he delivers a lecture on near-death experiences (濒死体验), shares ideas, answers questions, and expands on the knowledge students have built during their coursework.
博士. Van Lommel, a cardiologist (医学博士), spent 26 years at Rijnstate Hospital in Arnhem, the Netherlands. He is internationally recognized for his pioneering research on consciousness, first published in 2001 in the British medical journal The Lancet, a respected publication with over a century of contributions to the medical field.
The deep respect and admiration that the Foundation and its students hold for Dr. Van Lommel is clear—in their participation, their engagement, and in the photos from this unforgettable visit.
