他们告诉我我不能

Sometimes we know we should listen to our hearts rather than our minds, yet we fail to act. At other times, we fall into a victim mindset when facing challenges, convincing ourselves that we are incapable—even when everything is in our favor. This way of thinking limits us and prevents us from taking risks when life puts us to the test. This story is about moving beyond that mindset and building a fulfilling life by accepting your limitations without allowing them to diminish the opportunities available to you.

Daniel Anglada Pich lost his sight as the result of a workplace accident. The journey he undertook after deciding that he wanted to live life to the fullest is a remarkable testimony of resilience and self-overcoming. His message is clear: most limitations are self-imposed. In his own words, everything changed when he realized that he didn’t want to live like a plant.

Returning to his life at sea—this time as a blind sailor—was the first step toward keeping his dreams alive. Founding an inclusive sailing school and, 在 2025, completing a 13-hour solo circumnavigation of an island are just two of his extraordinary achievements.

Here is a story of resilience, courage, and life lessons put into practice.
