Torrevieja University Hospital, Alicante

A Warm Welcome to Torrevieja University Hospital in Alicante

In the province of Alicante, Torrevieja University Hospital is a public healthcare center widely recognized in the region. It serves both local residents and international patients, offering a broad range of medical specialties and earning distinction for its efficient management model.

With its incorporation into Project LIGHT, we now count 17 hospitals formally linked to the research initiative, 15 of which are located in Spain.

The work of engaging institutions that may be interested in this Project is ongoing, as the acceptance protocols are rigorous and require time for review and evaluation. In this regard, the Icloby Foundation continuously works to establish connections and present the Project before the committees of each institution in order to begin the assessment process. This effort takes place not only in Spain, but also in other Spanish-speaking countries, particularly across Latin America.

From this perspective, we welcome all individuals who may serve as bridges to help the Foundation present the Project to Cardiology Departments in hospitals and to research teams involved in scientific studies. Those interested may contact Dr. Luján Comas directly.

Below is the list of participating hospitals as of the end of December 2025
