Near-Death Experience (NDE) Course

Each year, theICLOBY Foundation organizes an intensiveNear-Death Experience (NDE) Course, led byDr. Luján Comas andDr. Xavier Melo. Spanning three weeks, the course is designed to learn from people who have personally experienced an NDE while bringing together science and consciousness to explore one of humanity’s greatest mysteries. Its guiding premise is simple yet profound: understanding death can help us live without fear.

From June 29 to July 17, nearly 30 participants attended this year’s program. What stood out most was the diversity of the 2026 cohort. Participants included people with visual impairments, banking professionals, mediums, and, notably, a balanced number of men and women. This contrasts with previous years, when most attendees were women working in the healthcare sector.

This growing diversity suggests that the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of these topics are beginning to reach a broader audience and inspire interest across many different walks of life.
