“Remember That I’m Here”: The Phrase That Changed Everything

Near-death experiences (NDEs) can profoundly transform the lives of those who experience them, as supported by countless testimonies and growing evidence. Many people report lasting changes in their beliefs, relationships, daily habits, and sense of purpose. Yet this story goes even further: an NDE became the means through which a message from “the other side,” intended for someone the experiencer had not yet met, was delivered two years later at precisely the right moment—changing that person’s life for the better.

Dr. Jose Morales, physician and author of What Death Taught Me, shares his NDE in lectures and public forums. Inma Rabasco, a journalist, actress, and creator with a deep interest in art, spirituality, and near-death experiences, invited him to speak at a conference in Barcelona. Although they had both lived in Lleida, in the same neighborhood, they had never crossed paths.

During his experience, José recognized a man from Lleida who appeared to him and said, “Remember that I’m here.”Because the man was not someone close to him, José never understood the meaning of the message and eventually chose to leave that part out of his public accounts.

Then, an intuitive question from Inma created the opportunity for the message to be delivered, revealing its true purpose and bringing everything into focus.
