What They Never Told You About The Heart

How can something the size of a fist—like the heart—be capable of so much? This is the question that both doctors invite us to reflect on throughout the interview.

Understanding the heart as a unique muscular band, with two helices, possibly related to magnetism and telluric energies beneath the earth—energies that may explain how this organ can pump blood throughout the entire body—places the scientific community in a fascinating position to continue exploring a structure that was long considered merely a pump.

If we also consider studies on transplant recipients who, after receiving a new heart, experience emotions and sensations they didn’t have before—yet match those of the donor—we begin to see that the mysteries the heart holds are still waiting to be explored.
