Life Beyond Life – The Book

Dr. Xavier Melo knows firsthand why near-death experiences (NDEs) often lead to spiritual transformation. The clearest example is the ICLOBY Foundation itself, which he founded after experiencing an NDE.

In Life Beyond Life, co-authored by Dr. Melo and Dr. Luján Comas, readers will find a collection of interviews with people who have had NDEs and who underwent significant life changes as a result. These inspiring stories show how such powerful and often difficult experiences can become turning points—leading to decisions and changes that later reveal their deeper meaning and benefits.

The book also features interviews with doctors who have witnessed NDEs firsthand or become aware of them through their patients. These experiences have expanded their understanding of consciousness and sparked scientific curiosity about non-materialistic perspectives. They now share this broader view alongside the authors.

The book concludes with reflections and insights drawn by the authors after engaging with all these remarkable individuals.

For Dr. Comas, this is her second book. Her first, Does Death Exist? Science, Life, and Transcendence (co-written with Dr. Anji Carmelo, a metaphysicist), challenges the conventional view of death in light of modern scientific discoveries in medicine and quantum physics. It also explores transcendence, offering a framework for rethinking death and opening life to new horizons.

The book Life Beyond Life was first launched at LA CASA DEL LIBRO bookstores in Madrid and Barcelona, introducing it to the Spanish community. However, it is now available on major digital platforms, making it accessible to readers around the world.
