SUSANA ROMAN

I Saw Three Angels

Susana Román had two near-death experiences (NDEs), at the ages of 10 and 16. Despite the years that have passed, she still remembers every detail with remarkable clarity. Each experience was different, both in its intensity and in what she saw and felt. She also understands why and how these experiences differ from hallucinations.

When she had her first NDE at the age of 10 and shared it with her mother, her mother did not give it much importance, attributing the experience to the medications Susana had received during her illness. However, Susana never doubted that what she had experienced was real, even though others did not believe her. The memory of that experience remains vivid and unchanged in her mind.

At the age of 16, a car accident caused severe physical trauma, leaving her in a coma, requiring admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and leading to multiple surgeries. During this second experience, she spent time in the presence of three beings whom she describes as angels.
