As mentioned in a publication last September, the ICLOBY Foundation, in collaboration with the Caminando la Consciencia Group, which promotes the Wake Up Platform, participated in a talk on Death as a Drive for Life at the Sants Funeral Home (Barcelona). With the participation of Dr.. Luján Comas, president of the Foundation, in the colloquium held after the film PIG AT THE CROSSING, ICLOBY was present at the Second Edition of this Buddhist Film Festival, in line with its commitment to disseminate, educate and raise awareness.

The assumed connection between consciousness and brain function , has been challenged by scientific research. Without scientific curiosity and healthcare professionals’ ability to question established beliefs, these advancements wouldn’t be possible.

Science continues to explore the origin of Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) and their relationship with brain activity during cardiopulmonary arrest, as monitored by EEGs. Research continues to be clear on this matter.

Undoubtedly, Dr. Pim van Lommel is a key figure when it comes to deepening our understanding of Near-Death Experiences (NDEs). In this conference in Spain, he not only provides scientific evidence found in his research , but also invites us to question our dogmas.

The ICLOBY Foundation, in collaboration with the "Caminando la Consciencia" group that promotes the Wake Up Platform, held an informal talk on the topic of death as a driver of life at the Sants Funeral Home (Barcelona). This innovative idea came from Alex Albiol Almirall of the said funeral home. The fear of death can be transformed through knowledge and science. We fear what we do not understand.

We WELCOME the new hospitals that have joined our research. With them, we are now in 2 Latin American countries and 11 Spanish hospitals that have embraced the science of consciousness from a new work perspective.

Undoubtedly, for the entire scientific community, NDEs are a topic of constant research. For this reason, the advance regarding what produces them and what does not produce them, delivers clear results, accurate and corroborated by scientific methods that it is definitely necessary to discard.
